BeeBuddy is a social connection platform designed to help people discover like-minded individuals, join communities, share experiences, explore activities, and create meaningful connections.
Features may include community groups, Buddy Events, Story Exchange, shared interests, activity recommendations, member profiles, messaging, and other social features.
BeeBuddy may update, add, or remove features over time.
You must be at least 18 years old to create a BeeBuddy account and participate in in-person community activities.
By using BeeBuddy, you confirm that:
BeeBuddy may suspend accounts that do not meet these requirements.
You may need an account to access certain BeeBuddy features.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
You agree to provide accurate and current information and to update it when necessary.
You must not share your account with another person or create an account pretending to be someone else.
If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact BeeBuddy as soon as possible.
BeeBuddy is built around respectful and meaningful interaction.
When joining communities, events, conversations, or shared activities, you agree to treat other members respectfully.
You must not use BeeBuddy to harass, threaten, intimidate, discriminate against, or intentionally harm another person.
Community organizers may establish additional rules for individual groups or activities, provided those rules do not conflict with BeeBuddy policies.
BeeBuddy may help users discover people, activities, communities, and in-person events.
However, BeeBuddy does not guarantee the identity, behavior, reliability, compatibility, or intentions of another member.
You are responsible for deciding whether to meet or interact with another user.
When meeting someone for the first time, we encourage users to choose public locations, tell someone they trust where they are going, and use reasonable personal safety precautions.
BeeBuddy may provide safety features or recommendations, but these do not replace your own judgment.
Members may discover, join, or create activities through BeeBuddy.
Event details such as time, location, availability, costs, or participation requirements may be provided by community members or third-party organizers.
BeeBuddy does not guarantee that every event will occur exactly as described.
Organizers are responsible for providing accurate information about their activities.
Participants are responsible for evaluating whether an activity is suitable and safe for them.
BeeBuddy may allow users to post photos, stories, comments, recommendations, travel experiences, event information, or other content.
You retain ownership of the original content you create.
By posting content on BeeBuddy, you give BeeBuddy permission to display, store, reproduce, and distribute that content as necessary to operate and promote the platform.
You should only upload content that you have the right to share.
You may not post content that:
BeeBuddy may remove content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
You may not use BeeBuddy to:
Harass or threaten users - Engage in abusive, intimidating, or unwanted behavior.
Create fake identities - Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
Spam members - Send repetitive advertisements, unwanted promotions, or mass messages.
Commit fraud - Mislead users for financial or personal gain.
Collect data without permission - Scrape profiles, messages, photographs, or member information.
Interfere with BeeBuddy - Attempt to hack, disrupt, reverse engineer, or damage the platform.
Use the platform for illegal activity - Any activity that violates applicable law is prohibited.
BeeBuddy aims to provide a friendly and respectful environment.
Users may report inappropriate content, suspicious behavior, harassment, or safety concerns through available reporting tools.
BeeBuddy may investigate reports and take actions including:
Submitting a report does not automatically guarantee a specific outcome.
Your use of BeeBuddy is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains what personal information BeeBuddy may collect, why we collect it, and how users can manage their information.
Our Cookie Policy separately explains how cookies and similar technologies are used.
Certain BeeBuddy features may use approximate or precise location information when you choose to enable them.
Location may be used to suggest nearby communities, events, activities, or relevant experiences.
You can manage location permissions through your device or account settings where available.
BeeBuddy should not require location access for basic website browsing unless the feature specifically depends on it.
BeeBuddy may offer optional paid features, memberships, subscriptions, or premium services.
Before making a purchase, the applicable price and billing period will be displayed.
If a subscription automatically renews, this should be clearly disclosed before payment.
Users may manage subscriptions through: Settings → Billing
Unless otherwise stated, cancelling a subscription stops future renewal but does not immediately remove access already paid for during the current billing period.
You may cancel an eligible BeeBuddy subscription at any time through your account settings.
After cancellation, paid features may remain available until the end of your current billing period.
BeeBuddy should not charge you for a new billing period after cancellation has successfully taken effect.
Refund eligibility may depend on the type of purchase, payment provider, and applicable consumer law.
Where required by law, BeeBuddy will provide refunds or cancellation rights accordingly.
Purchases made through platforms such as Google Play or other third-party payment services may also be subject to their refund policies.
BeeBuddy may contain links or integrations with third-party services such as maps, payment providers, social platforms, or external event services.
BeeBuddy does not control those services.
Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
The BeeBuddy name, logo, interface design, graphics, illustrations, mascot Buzzy, icons, branding elements, and original platform content are owned by or licensed to BeeBuddy unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, sell, redistribute, or commercially use BeeBuddy branding or platform assets without permission.
Content posted by users remains subject to the ownership rights of those users.
We aim to keep BeeBuddy available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
BeeBuddy may temporarily become unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, security issues, or circumstances outside our control.
Features may also change as the platform develops.
BeeBuddy may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms, Community Guidelines, or applicable laws.
Where appropriate, BeeBuddy may provide notice or an opportunity to address an issue before termination.
Users may also choose to delete their BeeBuddy account through account settings where this feature is available.
BeeBuddy provides tools designed to help people discover communities and connect with others.
However, BeeBuddy does not guarantee that:
Users remain responsible for their own interactions and decisions.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, BeeBuddy is not responsible for indirect losses resulting from user interactions, third-party activities, cancelled events, travel arrangements, or circumstances outside BeeBuddy's reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.
BeeBuddy may update these Terms when the platform, features, or legal requirements change.
If a significant change affects users, we may provide notice through the website, app, or account notification.
The latest version and update date will always be displayed on this page.
